Sri Lanka bowl Pakistan out for 110 and win by eight wickets to set up a tri-series final rematch
Dilshan Madushanka took a career-best 5 for 34 as Pakistan collapsed in 25.3 overs in Lahore. Kamindu Mendis made an unbeaten 62 to win it with more than 30 overs to spare, sending Sri Lanka into the final and knocking England out.

Two days after Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf rescued them from 154 for nine, Pakistan had no escape. Sri Lanka bowled them out for 110 in 25.3 overs in Lahore on Tuesday and chased the target for the loss of two wickets in 18.1 overs, winning by eight wickets with more than 30 overs to spare.
The result sends Sri Lanka into the final of the ODI tri-series, where they will face Pakistan again, and ends England's hopes of reaching it, The Tribune reported, in a report also carried by 24 News.
Madushanka's best day
Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis won the toss and chose to bowl, and left-arm seamer Dilshan Madushanka made it count. He removed Fakhar Zaman for 5 in the fourth over and returned later to clean up the lower order, finishing with 5 for 34, the best figures of his ODI career.
Babar Azam top-scored with 29 from 33 balls before he was trapped lbw by Eshan Malinga. From 61 for four, Pakistan lost their last six wickets for 49 runs. Shadab, the hero against England, was caught for 2. Only four Pakistan batters reached double figures.
The total of 110 is Pakistan's second-lowest in an ODI at home, according to The Tribune.
Mendis finishes it quickly
Pakistan needed early wickets and did not get enough of them. Kamindu Mendis put on 50 for the first wicket with Avishka Fernando, and stayed to the end, unbeaten on 62 from 60 balls with eight fours and two sixes. Pavan Rathnayake was not out on 23.
Shaheen Shah Afridi and Arafat Minhas took a wicket each, but Sri Lanka were never under pressure.
What it means
Pakistan were already through to the final after their one-wicket win over England, so the defeat changes little in the table. But it is the second time in three days that their top order has collapsed. Against England they were 154 for nine before the tail added 89. This time there was no recovery.
Sri Lanka, who will play England on Thursday in a match that no longer affects the final, go into the final with momentum. Pakistan will need a far better start with the bat.
Radio Pakistan also reported the result.
